Salty Tears
When you learn a loved one has died,
Don’t be afraid to sink to the floor
And cry
No matter where you are
Don’t be ashamed
To show up to the church
Dressed all in black
Except for your red eyes
As salty tears stream down you face
Landing on you pink trembling lips
Don’t be embarrassed to turn around
And hug the person on your right, because
They are hurting too
