I survived
In the darkness of the night
I held your memory tight
Every bit of us was pain
I tried to wash it with the rain
Soaking my skin to the bone
your arms seemed the only home
When I knew I couldn't go back.
I wondered if my breath would last.
Fortunately, sanity found my heart.
Now your face is the aim of my dart
Don't think about saying you love me.
You are someone with a lie to be.
You mean nothing in love's light.
May as well tell you heart goodnight,
Never again come never my life,
because I survived your terrible plight.
