I Fly

I am as free as a bird
No worries are to be heard
I spread my wings, I can fly
I am almost there, I can touch the sky
I feel the wind on my shoulder
Obstacles, they are what makes me stronger
I take them as something that can make me forever remember
I am as free as a bird
Letting go of my yesterday
Opening up that part of me that wants to just hide away
I reach for something new, when there is nothing else to choose
I fly.
