Trees
I am like a tree
Standing Tall and Proud
I can grow from the smallest seed into the biggest plant
Not even the strongest storm
Can ravage me
I may sway, but I won’t fall
But sometimes, sticks and stone can be too much
A limb may snap or a leaf is lost
But I won’t heed your taunts, Oh Storms
And I shall grow anew
At some point, I will win my battle against Nature
And slowly decay away
For I have lived long enough
To see your kind smile as you swing and sway among my branches
I am like a Tree
Never giving up
Standing Tall and Proud
