no man's land
I’m almost there i know
Just not yet
On the brink of new love
On the edge of old hate.
Stuck somewhere here
In no man’s land
Just need a little time
or a helping hand.
There’s sand
there’s snow
Its dark here
Not even a faint glow
Its a moonless sky
There’s a mist in the night
As dark as ever
But still revealing a chink
In my might.
Feeling caged
A little scared i agree
Counting each breadth
Waiting to be free
Each minute seems like forever
Each hour not enough time
Each breadth seems to pierce like a dagger
Each step a thousand miles.
