Winters Betrayal

Frosted snow, Crystalline rain
Winters breath,banishing green.
An empress of ice and knight of shadow,
A union of midnight storms
An affair of secrets, of cold passion.
Springs frivolity brings to light,
winters betrayal to the world.
So winter was accused and tried,
to fall before natures wrath.
The storms of Spring,
Fire of Summer,
and scythe of Fall.
Alone and desolate the pair still strike,
every year
with icy breath
and stealth of night.
