Endangered By Your Kiss
The taste of someone unfamiliar on lips.
Endangered by there kiss.
How did it get to here?
I guess your good with words my dear.
You say you love me,
Even tho at the moment we can't be.
Be anything more than this, then I'll say I love you too.
Because I really do.
It's always the same thing with us.
It makes me want to cuss.
Why do we do this all the time?
I'm not going to lie,
I do enjoy the bliss,
But then I'm the one who will miss.
And the guilt I feel when I go back into his arms,
It tangles up my mind like yarn.
I'm so confused,
Shocked I don't feel misused.
Tonight was amazing, sadly it can't be like this more often,
But we have to put a lid on it like the dead man's coffin.
All of this is a bad love triangle,
Feeling like I'm sitting on the edge letting my feet dangle.
Debating whether to jump and engage you.
Only if I had a clue,
So I take the leap,
And pray I land on my feet.
