The River on Tomorrow
Meet me in tomorrow
I’ll wait for you there
Underneath the streetlamp
With flowers in my hair
When I see you I’ll embrace you
Your gaze will rest on mine
You’ll kiss my lips, my face, and eyes
No time is more divine
The sidewalk by the river
Will be smiling at the moon
And the golden bridge we stand on
Will be listing to its croon
But tomorrow never gets here
Its not something that you missed
Every moment is today
It just doesn’t exist
So we can dream of paradise
Of a sweetly scented breeze
To steal away to, on grey days
