Stay Untouched
To have never seen bizarre grief
Or trust in belief
Paired vision of foresight
Never having to know between wrong and what's right
Tempted hearts speak languages lost
Tongues cut from throats at simple cost
But never to have known consequence of a game called quits
No paranoia to give a mind delusion-ed hints
A heart felt but never tampered with
Your actions are quite preposterous
Intangible to society and all the offers it has
Never knowing pain
Incapable of harm in any sense
This is an untouched soul that life has missed
You are my blue eyed baby girl
That the world has left untouched,
Your new, your spontaneous, your laughter never subsides,
Can you please stay....untouched.
Don’t let the world modify
You, don’t let unruly boys near you
You can avail yourself, but for now...just for now
Stay untouched.
Your smiles contagious, and never tedious
Seldom chastised about your new born dialect
Now this atrocious world has a chance to get you
but please, for this moment...stay untouched
I look into your eyes
And see the magic of the world
I also see my best friend
My special girl,
I could never deplore you
You bundle of joy, your innocence hovering
Waiting to be snatched...
Just stay untouched
You loll on your playtime mat
Seeing nothings amiss,
Your little world is filled with kindness.
But sad truth to be told,
That future may be cold,
But for now, you are a blue eyed baby girl,
That the world has not touched,
And that suits you just fine,
Staying untouched.
