The Bullet
You shot into my heart
You broke it apart
It cannot be fixed
I’m bleeding
Red blood like a red rose
Pouring out of me
Like water rushing from a waterfall
I feel cold like Antarctica
My body is becoming stiff
I cannot move
It’s like I’m in a straightjacket
I cannot feel anything
Like my whole body is numb
When will all this end?
My eyes are going black
Like the night sky
Am I dying?
Am I already dead?
I cannot speak
My mouth will not move
My voice
It’s gone
I cannot talk
I see a bright light
I know I am dead
The bullet
Shot through my heart
And killed me
