The Apparent Advantages of Existing Anonymously
An opportunity like this you cannot neglect
Fly under the radar, no one will suspect
That under that shirt you've got something to hide
Be it from anger, or be it from pride
Amidst the group you wear "normal" so well
Who would imagine the hot steaming hell
You've kept pent up in your brain for so long
And really, why care about what's right or wrong?
The secret is out and the word got around
Your camouflage comfort can no longer be found
Once you lose it, you can't get it back
So why even hesitate, why stop the attack?
The blue denim jeans, the apathetic glare
The open-ended remarks, the invalid stare
The casual t-shirts, the dread-ridden show
How could no one see you were ready to blow?
How easy it is to lie low in the norm
A telltale sign of the impending storm
Routine in your life has become autonomous
But after Monday, you're no longer Anonymous
