Super Hero
Most claim that they aren't ordinary but most are.
My mother however is not.
They say you don't know what you have until you lose it but really, you know exactly what you have, you just never expect to lose it.
Ya know that person that holds you together when you feel like you're falling apart?
The one that sings in the car with you?
The one that dances in the rain with you?
The one that really sucks at cooking but never stops trying?
The one that rides the scariest rollercoasters with you while other moms just watch?
The one that takes her last sick day to take you shopping?
The one that doesn't care what other people think?
That carries you upstairs at 2am when you crash on the couch?
That picks you up an hour early from school just to sit in the parking lt and eat icecream?
The one that you can tell anything and everything to?
Your very best friend?
Gone...
An ordinary woman? Maybe in the eyes of most... But in mine? A super hero.
