Your Heart
Your heart
Is a compartment of emotions,
Where your deepest secrets and thoughts are kept,
Locking out intruders,
Who yearn to learn what is inside.
So e days it feels like,
Your hearts soars into the sky,
Standing beside the sun,
Collecting the sun's warmth and joy,
While other days,
Out of the blue
Your heart walks into a brick wall,
And on other days,
It is trapped in a storm,
Crying and searching,
Desperately for shelter.
Your heart is,
Another person inside of you,
Expressing all your emotions,
By pulsing and pumping them into your body.
Each heart is different and expresses one's personality,
By showing their unique sides.
But your heart,
Is the one that shines out,
From all the rest.
Gleaming at all who pass on by,
And jumping out at everyone,
Showing the real you, underneath it all.
The heart,
Is truly the best
Way to judge someone,
Because you never know
If the real person
Is hiding in the heart's shadow,
Waiting patiently,
To be discovered
And brought into reality.
