Rather Dead Then Alive

Kills hurt, tears sting.
I thought you loved me, but apparently not.
You’ll let me cut myself; you’ll let me burn myself.
I wonder if you will let me kill myself.
The earth moves in circles, always going to the exact same spot.
I don’t want to be that type of person.
People keep saying my life is wonderful.
I say, I’ve been to hell and back, and I don’t want to go back.
I believe in recreation, so after this life there might be a better life.
I’d rather be dead than alive here.
