The Viking Poem

March 29, 2012

I am a Viking with a shield and a battle axe
My muscles are big but my brain is not working to its max
Now my beard and arms have gotten quite hairy
And all of the Englishmen think I am scary
With our navigating skills we can g a long way
And if we show up in France they pay us not to stay
My bro’s Sven, Olaf, and Olaf are all very mean
And with all this stealing they are nowhere near lean
You are now hoping you avid me and me fellows
Because our attitude throughout time sure never mellows
But the monasteries didn’t like that we were making ourselves known
Plundering and destroying with a fist as hard as stone
