Accept Me For Who I Really Am
It's true.
I dance in front of my mirror.
I sing in the shower.
I use my hairbrush as a microphone.
I laugh at my own mistakes.
I talk to myself,
I play dress up all alone.
I'm one of "thos girls,"
who will be shopping and say;
"I wonder if he would think this is cute?!"
It's all true.
While all of this goes on, I think of you.
So you could see for yourself,
I'd do all of this in front of you.
In the end,
I wonder if you'd accept.
Me, for ME.
For who I really am,
I'm not pretend.
I.
Am.
ME.
