Books are forgotten.
Placed on shelves
of dusty old stores.
With their covers
never to be opened,
like tightly closed doors.
But if you
choose
to take the chance.
You may find yourself
in faraway places,
like Hawaii
or France.
So open the door
that is kept
under lock and key.
And you may find yourself
standing next to me.
