Favorite Quote:
&ldquo;I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The proper function of man is to live, not to exist.&rdquo;<br /> -Jack London

All throughout the years,
As the hands on the clocks ticked by,
You embarked on an a marvelous adventure full of unforgettable opportunities,
And there were so many new experiences you tried.

It was all uncharted territory at first,
Some things intimidating, most unknown,
But they all were for your benefit,
They helped you mature and grow.

Having gained bravery and magnificence along the way,
As well as aptitude and grace,
You have truly made an impact,
Your legacy will always remain in this place.

You started out as a small seed,
Just one of millions in the soil of society,
None of which bloomed quite the same as another,
Creating a phenomenally exquisite variety.

After being planted in the garden of high school,
You were fertilized to grow to be great,
You were watered with knowledge and life lessons,
The rest of the gardening was done by fate.

There were a few weeds that sprouted along the way,
Unforgiving droughts and inevitable thorns,
But none could hinder the growing beauty of the garden,
Not even the driest drought, or the fiercest storm.

You developed confidence and courage,
As well as uniqueness and elegant poise,
You gathered the fondest memories along the way,
Regarding life’s most treasured joys.

Finally, your petals divulged themselves,
They sprouted open one by one,
In retrospect, you relish each step of your voyage,
You cherish all the fun.

Now that you’ve blossomed with brilliance,
Share with everyone the remarkable radiance your true color brings,
It’s time for you to journey out of the garden,
Change the world, and do phenomenal things.
