Brother
Brother, oh I love you so,
Since birth you have been a foe
Always there in times of need
With love and care and just an ounce of greed.
I cannot explain what glues our bond
Perhaps the late nights, the infectious colds
A hand in mine as I stumbled and fell
Throughout childhood you were nothing less than swell.
It's been too many years for me to fill you in
On the jokes, the pokes and the frequent grins
All I can tell you is that first hand,
Brothers are the best friends, man oh man.
