Burning Paper

A piece of paper
it means nothing to me
just a scribbled on note
that leaves me begging on my knees
A lighted match
to set it a flame
wiping it clean
where me tears were stained
what is left
of all these blurred memories
burn to ashes
hear them silently scream
now they're gone forever
erased like a scar
no hurt, no pain
just what's left of my heart
