Not everyone has to go to college because ..hello!.. PIZZAS DONT DELIVER THEMSELVES!!!!

On this day in April
as the sun set
I was taken to a place
I had not been yet

The sun it watched
as it began to slowly drop
The things you did
that made my heart stop.

It saw you come to
the place I did stand
and sweetly take me
by the hand.

The sun set watched
as we began to sway
and for a moment
everything went away.

All I felt was your hands
and your heart
and at that time
nothig could tear us apart.

I saw nothing
for a long while
except your eyes,
and your smile.

The sun set watched
as we stood and did not speak
We just swayed
and did not blink.

We just danced under
the painted sky
until the sun set
finally said good bye.

Then we saw the stars
watching us with happy bliss
as at that moment
We softly kiss.

While we danced
and spun around
i did not feel my feet
touching the ground.

The whole world
was a world aaway
As long as we were
dancing that way.

Beautiful!  I love the tone of the poem and its simplicity.  For a free verse, it also has an excellent flow and rhythm to it.  Your word choice is superb, which gives the reader vivid imagery.  I honestly can't find anything to criticize about this, except that you forgot to capitalize the 'I' in the tenth verse.
