Rain Dancer
Won’t you dance with me tonight
Under grey skies of yonder?
Hold on to me tight
Let us grow fonder
No light to conduct us
Freedom we possess
This sunless stage we stride
Gives us unimaginable pride
But the beats we hear
Will soon disappear
And the rhythm we ride
Will soon be dried
So conclude this piece
And come to a cease
Together we grieve
But no need to leave
It’s time for curtain call
Take an extensive bow
This cryptic dancehall
Will come for a show
When the sun is forbidden
And tomorrow is hidden
