A People's War
"When the Rich Wage War,
It’s the Poor who Die".
The people of today are at war,
with each other for no reason.
As we watch in fear and hope,
we also wonder about how it all started.
Was it a bomb, a gunshot or was just stupidity,
that started this war.
"When the Rich Wage War,
It’s the Poor who Die".
President Bush thought that a war was great for America,
he was wrong, cause with this war we have
lost the ones we loved and the ones we thought we knew.
We never wanted a war,
we wanted revenge for 9/11.
Is revenge really a winner in the world today?
"When the Rich Wage War,
It’s the Poor who Die".
Now as we look back from today we wonder,
Why did we go to war?
What was the point?
Why did we listen to this crazy man?
All we can do is Regret the past and
look towards the Future.
