Summer's Wind
The gentle wind trickles the untamed grass.
Water trickling in the creek,
Butterflies flutter in the sky,
Filling it with blues, yellows, and whites.
Bird’s call to each other,
A pure melody.
Cotton-candy clouds stay afloat in the heavens.
The beating of our feet on the dirt trail.
Heaven’s light bright in the sky,
Its fingers dance across our skin,
Leaving the area red.
I run my fingers through Earth’s hair,
Detangling the tall weeds.
