Requiem
I miss those times,
but not the heat
the bitter taste of misery
on my lips its not as sweet
as in the tears you cried for me
I miss your eyes
does it show?
has the scent of your love
washed off my clothes?
in the dark
I wish Id known
your shadow wouldnt linger long
I miss your songs
your looks of warmth
but your starry eyes have grown dull
your voice silent in deaths enchanting lull
your memory falls with a gravitational pull
towards the choir singing
Requiem.
