Living in the Moment
A spoiled princess cries her tears,
while asking for more diamond-encrusted tissues.
She claims of her unselfish deed,
How she tried to help that maid,
clean the dishes,
By stealing a cupcake off the tray.
The King and Queen care nothing for her,
The most important to them is their prince,
a soon-to-be heir.
She knows,
He plans to throw her away,
Into the streets,
To make space for his beautiful bride.
Last supper she raised her goblet of fine wine,
Though she was too young and was not feeling fine.
Her toast?
To herself, and anyone who cared,
She said,
"Let me be spoiled, and enjoy what I love most."
