Nobody cares
But still,
Nature is a prostitute
With only a gauzy sheet of azure
To cover its bronzed swellings.
Nobody notices
But still,
Nature is a prostitute
With a lengthy brown body;
And green dollar bills
Teeming from its skirt of moss.
Nobody understands
But still,
Nature is a prostitute
With hundreds of bees
sucking the nectar
From it's delicate flowers.
And nobody wonders
But still,
Nature is a prostitute and
Man it's eternal subject
With no hope of moving on
In a world consumed by this
Prostitutes beauty.
