Tears We Cry
I always seem to ask myself, “Why do we cry?”
Is it a natural phenomenon? Or is it bred into us?
Is it a way for us to vacate our minds from
Bad memories or horrible late night dreams?
Or is it a way to express ourselves in ways in which
We cannot speak? If so, then why do we
Hide our tears from others? Is crying a bad
Thing? Is it a sin? Why are our tears
Wet? Is it because tears cleanse our minds
And wash away our fears? Is crying our
Hearts asking for help in the only way
It knows how to? So many questions,
So many thoughts, so little answers.
