Lullaby
Hush a-bye baby,don't you cry
Don't let your beautiful smile die
Even when the cradle is about to break
Your tears will only cause more weight
I will take your breath away
And wait by your side everyday
I will never let you go
And let you be alone
It will be my hand you will take
You will never fall or your heart will break
From the sticks and stones
That'll break your bones
And lying words that could kill
If you allow them they will
Just lay here in your cradle on the bough
Close your eyes, I won't let you fall now
Slowly, the cradle tilts, the bough breaks
My hand you will try to take
I watched you fall
You took it all
Away from me
I will never let you see
A silent, tragic death during your dreams
I ripped you up from the seams
Of Death's crunching fingertips
I promised I would never let you slip.
