You Don't See Me
Sometimes I think,
That I’m just an illusion,
That I’m not really here,
I just take up space,
You don’t listen,
You don’t even acknowledge me,
I try talking to you,
But you’re obviously too busy,
To answer,
So every waterless tear I shed,
Every smile I fake,
Is a waste of my time,
Because you still don’t see me,
And you probably won’t,
Until you’re mad,
And have no one to yell at,
But me,
Because I do everything wrong,
Besides,
I’m just an illusion that takes up space,
In your eyes,
Aren’t I?
