Credo A Credo for Sarcasm, Ghosts, and Free Packs of Gum
I believe in writing for fun and staying up all night with my best friends
To talk about our feelings.
I believe God has touched the world in more than one form of religion
And as much as we wish they weren’t,
First impressions matter the most.
I believe in Friday family movie nights
And that college is not worth the money and stress.
I do not believe in love at first sight,
Yet I do believe in soul mates
And that free packs of gum
Should be passed out every Monday
To help students get through the week.
I believe in sarcasm and ghosts
And that if money were a boyfriend
I would breakup with it
Because it’s never there when I need it.
I believe political parties are so obsessed with fighting each other
That they’ve forgotten about the country as a whole
And I believe cheese is nastier than dirt.
However, most of all,
I believe the true measure
of a person is how he/she treats his/her inferiors
Rather than his/her equals.
