I read for the kill
I read for desire
and to fuel the fire
Words on paper
so powerful
expose the soul
and heart and mind
I read to live
I read to die
I read to slowly lose my mind
to pierce the heart
and let the blood run dry
to find the truth
behind the lies
to feel what's real
when nothing is
to relate
and to manipulate
to imagine
to take action
I live the life
that is not my own
there where it is not forebode
