A bell rings loud and clear
Resonates through all of your layers
It rings again, lower this time
You feel the thrust of a knife
Unable to comprehend the thought entering your ears
An injection in your veins, flowing fear
Silence. It's like talking to a mime
Yet the warning bell continues to chime.
Now what just happened?
Lost for words
Overwhelmed
The silence rings loud and clear
