When we're born into this world, we're all blank canvasses.
An infinite number of images could be put on this canvas.
You could put a businessman on this canvas.
You could put a serial killer on this canvas.
You could put a millionaire on this canvas.
It is your canvas, after all.

As we grow, people develop their own ideas of what is on the canvas.
One person may see a friend.
One person may see an enemy.
One person may see a beautiful masterpiece.
One person may see a revolting eyesore.
It all depends on what you paint on your canvas.
It is your canvas, after all.

Other people may try to paint on your canvas.
They may try to put their ideas on it.
They may try to change it entirely.
Do not let them.
There's a reason it is your canvas, after all.

When painting on your canvas, paint everything.
The images on the canvas are almost never permanent.
They can always be erased.
They can always be added on to.
Or they can be left as is.
It is your canvas, after all.

When you pass away, the image left on your canvas becomes immortal.
People will be left with what they saw.
People will be left with what you painted.
They can choose to interpret it however they please.
It was your canvas, after all.
