Hiding Archimedes
Traces of our fingers
Leave glowing marks on the walls
Of the apartment
Single
Chariot rains heavy fire
From down on high
But it keeps us warm tonight
It's nice to hear your laugh
Every fiber in my brain
Knows your smile
A wicked thing
It's nice to know your voice
Every whisper that I'm listening to
Is a breath that will
Never reach his chest
Archimedes ate the sun
Down on my blistered thumbs
Pray you fade on me
Breath on
It's nice to know
Every muscle on your bone
As they explode
A brilliant glow
It's nice to know
Every feeding is a stealing
From hunger comes a lock and key
A shallow body hides Archimedes and me.
