Time Forgot
For all the poppies spent
I can still not recommend
All the lives on the line
That have fallen down
For few of them stood
And ones that did
Did no good
The battles go on
And I stand strong
Seeing a day
Without a cause,
Without a way.
A light on the road
The battle goes on
In a silent war
That does no good
Not now, not no more.
My walls have fallen down
Without a sound
Without a pound
My voice is lost
But may be yours be strong enough
To carry on my message
That time forgot
