Lost Hope
What do you do when you're at the end of your rope
What do you do when you've lost all hope
I once thought life was over for me
I once thought I'd been set free
I know how it feels to be hurt
I've experienced being thrown in the dirt
I've had a broken heart
I thought it was all my fault
Maybe this is the way it has to be
Maybe I can rise above
My dad sold drugs
What is it with all these thugs
Here I am struggling to succeed
Feeling like I couldn't breathe
It's a lot of stress
Especially when you let thoughts get the best
Who cares
Maybe I'm a failure
I'm the fool
I shouldn't have ever trusted you
I'm faced with that everyday
Believing what certain people say
But hey...Whose to say there's not a better way
This time I'm gonna do it my way
It may hurt me but it will all be okay
