Hide and Seek
Bright blue eyes surrounded by a dark blue;
They sound pretty, possibly beautiful.
They may enchant you with their gaze
Of content and acceptance
While laying motionless over the exposure
Of an over exaggerated set of teeth.
Silent screams shout:
"Everything Will Be Alright!"
As reassurance attempts to
Swallow reality whole
Yet people see the sadness,
The truth,
Although the countenance remains the same.
Still I paint a smile across my cheeks -
People see through like a wall of glass.
The depression,
Loneliness,
Emptiness
Society can't seem to understand its members
Yet they know when you're false
I am sick of hiding
I am sick of being found
