I’d give my life, a thousand times over,
If it only meant protecting you,
I’d sacrifice my very being, just to see you happy,
Of course, that’s my dreaming, if only it were that easy,
You abstain from me, and I ache, abysmally,
Oh, how I would give anything, just to see you smile,
But I know, I could never set you free,
From the haunting loneliness that has you bound,
Heart and soul, you are wound,
Up in despair, never reaching ground,
If my death would free you,
Please know, in a heartbeat,
I’d go, lost in the blue.
