Behind This Mask
You have so many faces.
They all go at so many different paces.
Your eyes hidden,
Forbidden to reveal.
All I can see now is a shy,
Scared,
Protected,
Shivering person.
Deep down your beautiful,
Proud,
Loud,
Confident.
A whole new person who is drowning in this big ocean,
But fighting for life and all of its faces,
Catch up.
You need to set the paces.
Keep track of all the faces.
So I can explore all these new places.

“I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.”
