That Perfect Moment
All I can hear is my horse’s hooves hitting the ground in perfect rhythm.
I feel the wind blowing through my hair.
I have a handful mane in one hand and my legs clinging to my horse's sides.
We are in the middle of an open field, galloping as fast as we can go.
It feels like we were flying through the open sky, free as an eagle.
Nothing could catch us.
As we slowed down to a walk,
I remember thinking that nothing could be more perfect.
I never want to forget that moment, the one moment when there were no worries, no stress.
