My space
‘You sleep too much,’
I’m often told.
Lying forever,
Cotton blankets and folds.
Hours and hours I lie in bed.
Cocooned in my space,
Soft pillows under my head.
But I do not sleep,
Not most of the time.
I just lie curled up,
It’s a thing of mine.
In my space,
Curled up in a ball,
I do not sleep.
I dream. That’s all
