Monster
There
She stands
Taunting me
She says that I
will never be free.
I try not to hear yet
I listen, watching tears on
Our face glisten. You're not
Real! You will never control me!
Her teeth shining, I am what you are
Meant to be! She laughs at me, when I am
Weak and she is strong, I know that I will not
Last for long. She eats my heart, like a cut
Of meat. She knows my fears, smiles real sweet.
Behind the mirror She will always be there,
with me trapped within her snare.
I know why she does not heed my plea,
Because the monster
Inside is really
Me.
