A Real Life Superhero
I was never sure what I wanted
I didn't know where to go
But one day the sky fell on me
Gave me something to look up to
It took hold of an empty place
Somewhere near my heart
And it filled it with my truth
It opened my eyes,
And taught me how to fly
Now I don't just have a soul
But I have one I can feel,
As well as one to put to good use
I will do what I can
For the good of this world
Hear my little payer:
May all of you be in peace
And not be scared
Because there is someone
Always looking over you
It's my turn to take a stand
Amen
Take my hand,
I will sooth you with my hand
Don't be crying now
For there is a loving heart
That's still waiting for you now.
What a real life superhero, am I?
