Ode to Amtrak
If I were a train
I’d derail into the sunset
Pull up the tracks behind me
Like a Fruit Roll Up
And fly into the West
Where commuters where ten gallon hats
And care about their land
Fly into the past so my engine could scream coal into the atmosphere
And run faster than the internet.
Just me, my tracks, and the sky.
