Ode to your hair

Curly rose ringlets
And a blue toothed smile
Adorn your fair skin,
Bringing color to the midnight luminescence of pre-dawn Brooklyn.
The ephemeral pigment
Of those youthful locks
Bounces with the vibe
Of our barefoot races
Down cemented streets,
Through tipsy hallways,
And around drunken hula hoops,
In a city of light
Where your hair shines brightest.
