What They Dont See
They are blind,
They don't see,
What it means to me.
My words strike no passion,
Explanations bounce off them,
They look but they don't see.
They are blind to what it could be,
They see the plain and simple,
Where I see a masterpiece, they smirk and show a dimple.
After I crop and tint and rotate,
Adjust brightness, hue and contrast,
Then they see something worth it.
They applaud and praise,
They pretend at my expense,
They gasp and clap in wonder,
At what they don't see.
They are blind,
They can't see,
What it means to me.
