She Stares Into Space
She stares into space with dreams in her eyes,
With hair in her face as her only disguise.
She only wishes someone would see through her lies
And above all the noise, just hear how she cries.
She stares into space with her head in the clouds,
Not thinking anyone would see through her shroud,
But someone did, and saw only her in the crowd,
But she didn’t hear her calling; it was too loud.
She stares into space with longing in her heart
For someone to pick up the pieces and every part
Of her broken life and help her find a new start,
He walked in and saved her just before she fell apart.
