A Mind Unsupervised
Churning
Turning
Taunting
A mind in defiance, refusing to halt production
The foreman's retired for the night
the workers have punched their cards
But the machines whir on, unencumbered by their oppressive hands
Conveyors jam
Confusion
A factory in chaos
Damaged goods, disguised as items of value
Shipped out under cover of darkness
A dangerous liability
The morning reveals a disaster
Messy
Papers everywhere
Broken parts
The cleanup is laborious
A long and tiresome process
But sometimes
After the grime is cleared and the spills have been sopped up
And the machines are shining and spinning again
The inspector finds
In a dusty corner
Crumpled and dirty
Mistaken for trash
The single item
That's not beyond repair
