Solitary Red Balloon
A solitary red balloon in a cloudless blue sky
I don’t know why
But it makes me cry
And when a bud starts to bloom into a rose
And its thorns are the talons of a crow
I want the world to know
the hawk soars over a field of green
And I'll scream at the top of my lungs that it needs to be seen
Because this beautiful creature is free
Fall sprinkles gold, scarlet, and orange dust on the trees
And nobody wants summer to leave
But look and awe at all the beauty
Life is stunning and extraordinary
And even those simple moments of glee
Can make a person who they really want to be
